KG-ART & DESIGN
A mixture of art, craft, music, movement, imaginative and role play opportunities encourage the development of a child’s creativity. Children explore a variety of media as they work with colours, textures, shapes, spaces and forms. We also provide children with a variety of natural materials to explore and make things using their own creativity. Children are also encouraged to express their thoughts and ideas through illustrations called Free Expressions. A dedicated dance teacher facilitates movements with music making learning exciting and interesting. The Role Play Room or The Small World or the Pretend Play with corners for Supermarket, Clinic, Kitchen and Dining etc. helps develop important social skills with lots of fun. KG1 Annual Musical, KG2 Graduation Day, Fancy Dress Day, Jazzles – a group Sing-Along, Story Time and Art Attack a Colouring Contest are important days in the school calendar.

Music and theatre forms a vital part of the increasingly multi-sensory, multi-channel, media environment through which students empathize with human emotions and existence. Students learn to appreciate and explore different genres of music and performances as well as develop the skills to master the playing of instruments, both as part of the core curriculum and through extension activities beyond the normal school hours. Theatre and musicals help transform our students into exceptional communicators who present their theatrical talents and presence of mind on stage with great confidence.
