Kindergarten

ASPAM IIS provides a nurturing and engaging environment in Kindergarten for students to thrive and grow in this crucial period of developing important foundational skills. The Kindergarten Department focuses on social & emotional development through self-regulatory practices, and participation in activities to promote positive relationships, emotional intelligence and socialization skills.

Bespoke curriculum centered around play-based learning prioritizes play as a key method to explore, discover, collaborate, interact and learn about the world around.

Developmentally appropriate academic practices augment essential language, literacy and numeracy skills through introduction to phonics, phonemics and basic math concepts.

Creative expression and outdoor play opportunities promote expression of creative aptitudes through art, music, rhyme, rhythm and physical capacities like gross motor skills, fine motor skills, coordination and physical fitness. Positive Parent involvement and community connections are forged through Learner led Conferences, parent-teacher meetings, volunteer opportunities in event & activities and school programs.
